Our Graduates… A Success Story | Episode 21
Hassan Ahmed Al-Munshi — 21st cohort · 2024–2025
Key Account Specialist — Pioneer Pharmaceutical Industries
“Your path doesn’t have to be clear from the start… it is enough to keep walking.”
His journey in one sentence
A different road… and a destination worth it.
His story in his own words
After graduating in 2025, I began my career in the pharmaceutical field and gained experience in pharmacies and the pharmacy sector. I then moved into molecular diagnostics and NGS, where I worked with oncologists and learned first-hand about the role of genetic testing in identifying molecular mutations and linking them to targeted therapies within the concept of Precision Oncology. Later, I joined Pioneer Pharmaceutical Industries as a Key Account Specialist, gaining experience in working with public-sector healthcare institutions, following up hospitals’ needs and contributing to government tenders and pharmaceutical supply, alongside communicating with physicians and health authorities. In parallel, I continue to develop my specialization in oncology through the MSc in Transformative Oncology at The University of Manchester, to deepen my understanding of oncology and modern therapies and to link academic knowledge with my practical experience. My goal is to build a specialized path in Oncology and Precision Medicine, and to use my experience in pharmacy, molecular diagnostics and targeted therapies to help improve cancer care in Iraq.
