Our Graduates… A Success Story | Episode 28
Samar Amer Al-Rubaye — 15th cohort · 2018–2019
Founder of the “Tawajud” platform
“Feel the fear… and do it anyway!”
Her journey in one sentence
A journey that began in pharmacy and expanded into management, entrepreneurship and building technology solutions that try to address real problems we see every day in the workplace.
Her story in her own words
After graduating, my biggest challenge was not to confine myself to the traditional path my degree had drawn. I started working in pharmacy and business administration, but over time I discovered that many everyday problems need not just more effort, but better systems and solutions. That is where my journey in entrepreneurship and technology began, even though my academic background was not technical. I had to learn product and project management, understand users’ needs, and deal with the challenges of building a company and a product from scratch. The journey was not a straight line; it was full of trial, error and rebuilding, but I learned that not having every skill from the start does not mean you cannot begin. What matters is knowing how to learn, adapt and keep going until you turn the problem you see into a real solution.
