Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abbas Hussein, Dean of the College, and as part of the “A Graduate Returns to the Lecture Hall” programme, the Pharmacy Department at Baghdad College of Medical Sciences held a seminar entitled “Are You Hireable? – What Makes You Stand Out in Pharma Interviews”, presented by pharmacist Reem Polos Sada, one of the department’s graduates, to fourth- and fifth-year students and a number of the department’s graduates, on Wednesday, 21 October 2026, in the Meeting Hall.
The seminar was held in cooperation with the Alumni Affairs Unit, the Career Development, Employment and Follow-up Unit, the Continuing Education Unit and the Women’s Affairs Unit.
The seminar addressed what pharmaceutical companies look for in applicants, how to prepare for job interviews and answer behavioural questions, and how to highlight skills and experience that make a candidate stand out, drawing on practical experience from the pharmaceutical labour market.
At the end of the seminar, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abbas Hussein, Dean of the College, presented the Shield of Excellence to pharmacist Reem Polos Sada in appreciation of her efforts and participation.
