On Thursday, 15 October 2026, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced the central admission results for public universities and colleges for the 2026–2027 academic year. Students can view their results on the Qaddim platform.
These results apply to public colleges only. Applications to private colleges, including Baghdad College of Medical Sciences, had not yet opened at that time; the Ministry stated that the electronic application form for the parallel (private public-university) and private education channels would be launched later on the Qaddim platform.
Students admitted to public colleges may apply to private colleges while keeping their public admission, provided that admission confirmation and registration at private colleges take place after their results are announced.
Departments of Baghdad College of Medical Sciences and minimum admission averages for 2026–2027:
- Pharmacy: 88 (update of 22 October 2026: the minimum was lowered from 90 to 88)
- Nursing: 78
- Midwifery: 78 (female students only)
