Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abbas Hussein, Dean of the College, the Pharmacy Department at Baghdad College of Medical Sciences is holding an awareness seminar entitled “Your Awareness Protects You” on breast cancer and the importance of early detection, on the occasion of October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, under the slogan “Solidarity and Making an Impact”.
The seminar is organized in cooperation with the University Psychological Counselling Division, the Student Activities Division and the Women’s Affairs Division, with the participation of a group of Pharmacy students, and will be presented by second-year student Huda Ziyad on Tuesday, 20 October 2026, at 12:00 noon in the Conference Hall on the sixth floor.
The seminar aims to raise awareness of the importance of early detection and of caring for patients and survivors, as part of the College’s commitment to its awareness and community role. Everyone is welcome.
