As part of the “Admission Channels – Q&A” series, we explain to graduates of distinguished schools and Baghdad College (who study in English) the key points about applying to Baghdad College of Medical Sciences for 2026–2027:
- The minimum average 5 points lower applies only through the Distinguished channel: Pharmacy 83 · Nursing 73 · Midwifery 73.
- Competition is within a 20% quota reserved for this channel.
- You may also apply through the general channel if your average meets its minimum: Pharmacy 88 · Nursing and Midwifery 78.
- The competitive average adds +1 for passing in the first round and 8% of the foreign-language grade, with 0.5 and above rounded up.
- Only one privilege counts for competition and admission.
