The “Qaddam” platform is the official electronic portal of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Iraq, dedicated to applying to public and private universities and colleges.

Application Procedures via the “Qaddam” Platform
1. Account Creation: Enter a username and password, verify a valid personal phone number, and upload a live photo of the student along with a copy of the national ID card.
2. Filling in Student Information: The system will then guide you to enter your details, including the exam number, password, and uploading your institute certificate if available.
In Case of Incomplete Information: You will need a verification process. The system will automatically direct you to an electronic appointment booking window at one of the verification centers in public and private universities. Upon visiting the verification center at your scheduled appointment, your information will be checked and officially authenticated.
3. Applying to the College: At this stage, the system will display the student dashboard, where you can activate special channels if you meet their requirements (such as the Free Scholarship channel, Martyrs’ Families channel, Distinguished Students channel, and others). Note that the general channel is activated for all students. You can then proceed with the electronic application process for the departments and colleges available in the system through the following steps using the online application forms.
- Select the University: Choose the college or private university.
- Select the College: Choose Baghdad College of Medical Sciences.
- Select the Department: Choose one of the college’s departments (Pharmacy, Nursing, or Midwifery).
- Select the Study Type: Morning program.
- The platform allows students to track their admission status (Accepted, Waiting, or Rejected).
4. Student Registration: The registration period begins after the application period ends, during which the student is officially enrolled in the department they have been accepted into.
