2- 8% of the foreign language score is added to the student’s overall grade.

3- Two points are added to the average of students who have obtained a technical diploma.

Admission of Institute Graduates (Diploma Holders) to Private Universities and Colleges

  • The admission of institute graduates to private universities and colleges is limited to programs corresponding to their field of study, in accordance with the admission regulations.

  • Two points are added to the overall grade of high school graduates from all streams who hold a technical diploma, for admission to the program corresponding to their diploma (institute certificate). The student must submit their graduation document issued by the institute. The student will then compete with other applicants based on their high school grade plus the two points from the corresponding technical diploma.

  • Students who are institute graduates (diploma holders) and rank among the top 30% are eligible to apply to private universities and colleges in programs corresponding to their field of study at the institute. However, they are not entitled to the benefit mentioned in paragraph (2) above; competition is based solely on their grade at the technical institute. The 30% quota is calculated separately for each program, rounding up any fractions in favor of the student.

  • The top 30% quota is calculated separately for each program, rounding up any fractions in favor of the student (for example, in a program with 43 first-round graduates, 13 students will be nominated).

  • Graduates of the second round, as well as those whose first-round exams were postponed to the second round for justified reasons, may also be included, according to paragraph (10) of Examination Instructions No. 134 of 2000, provided that their grades are not below the minimum acceptable grade for the first round.
