October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Ahmed Abbas Hussein, our College held a seminar on the importance of early detection of breast cancer, presented by student Ata’a Mohammed Abduljabbar from the fourth year of the Pharmacy Department. This seminar was organized as part of the activities of the Student Activities Division under the supervision of Assistant Professor Muhannad Mahdi Damad, in collaboration with the College’s Women Affairs Department.
The Nursing Department, under the leadership of Professor Dr. Iqbal Ghanem, also organized awareness posters within the College to raise awareness about this disease and encourage women to undergo regular screenings. We commend these outstanding efforts and pray for the recovery of all patients.
