Year of Establishment: Academic Year 2025–2026
The Department of Midwifery was established by ministerial order for the academic year 2025–2026, making it the newest department at the college. It aims to prepare scientifically and professionally qualified midwives capable of providing comprehensive care to women throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period, as well as newborn care, through specialized clinical training in healthcare institutions in accordance with the latest academic standards.
Baghdad College of Medical Sciences also welcomes new students who wish to apply to the college for the current academic year.
