College vision
Study in the departments of the Baghdad College of Medical Sciences at the university is in the morning, and the applicant is required to have a certificate of preparatory study in the scientific branch, which is specified in the corresponding specializations in the official Iraqi universities, and the official language there is Arabic, and it is permissible to use living languages, especially the English language, according to the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

The college relies on the university calendar issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The admission conditions issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research are approved and determine the number of students proposed for admission annually and are reported to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for approval and commitment to the numbers allocated to each department.

The college is subject to the supervision and evaluation of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to maintain the level of efficient performance in the college departments by adopting the methods and formulas recognized in official universities. The college departments adopt the curricula prescribed by the sectoral authorities in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and benefit from international experiences in using modern teaching methods within the philosophy of specialized education, which takes into account the needs of the Iraqi community to obtain medical health and according to the latest global scientific developments.

The college always seeks to contact and address Iraqi ministries, universities, institutes, scientific institutions, and establishments through the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (the Department of Private University Education) in order to achieve its scientific, educational, and financial goals. The college also has the right to address Arab and international universities, institutes, and scientific institutions in accordance with the policy and instructions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

Objectives

The Baghdad College of Medical Sciences is considered an institution of public benefit and has a legal personality and financial and administrative independence. It has the ability to prepare and disburse the requirements of all departments and deal with official authorities in a manner consistent with achieving the goals. It enjoys all rights and privileges in accordance with the law. It has the right to contract and litigate to achieve the goals, and its profits do not transfer to others.
