The approval of His Excellency the Honorable Minister was obtained on 10/10/2018 to establish the Nursing Department at the Baghdad College of Medical Sciences in Baghdad Governorate for the academic year 2018-2019 for morning study, according to the Ministry’s letter numbered T/H/Aq/17719 and dated 10/15/2018.

The department aims to prepare nursing cadres capable of providing medical assistance in medical institutions and within international frameworks of knowledge and performance to serve the community and bear responsibility for caring for patients and those in need of community health service. The duration of study in this department is four years, during which the graduate obtains a bachelor’s degree in nursing, including the training period.
