That assumption was not correct. I faced countless difficulties after graduation. I worked in multiple places where I felt I was not compensated enough compared to my peers who were less academically successful than me, and spent countless hours working in healthcare in both community and hospital pharmacies. I was away from academia for 4 years, but then I decided to pursue graduate study in the UK and managed to get an extremely good position in Iraq after I came back. It felt like all of these years of hard work had paid off.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>Pharmacist Omar Wisam Al-Ani\u2019s advice to today\u2019s students<\/h3>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cFollow your passion.
